Pipes with a PE100RC-PE100RC double-layer structure are used in pressurized water supply networks (including drinking water).
Due to the increased resistance of PE100RC material to slow crack growth, these pipes can be installed in open trenches without sand bedding, with the option of using the excavated soil as backfill if it can be compacted, or by unconventional installation methods (horizontal directional drilling, relining).
The pipes are manufactured by co-extrusion, configured as follows:
– outer layer smooth, blue,
– inner layer smooth, black,
made of high-density polyethylene with resistance to crack propagation, PE100RC, stabilized to provide UV protection, in accordance with PAS 1075:2009.
Compliance standard: SR EN 12201-2 – Plastics piping systems for water supply and for service connections and pressurized drainage and sewerage systems Part 2: Pipes. Annex B: Pipes with co-extruded layers. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
