Due to the increased resistance of PE100RC material to slow crack propagation, these pipes can be installed using unconventional methods (e.g. horizontal directional drilling, relining) without reducing the network’s service life, or in open trench without sand bedding, and backfilling can be done with excavated soil if it is compactable.
