High-density polyethylene PE100RC pipes are used for cold water supply networks (including drinking water) and are installed underground.
Due to the increased resistance of PE100RC material to slow crack propagation, these pipes can also be installed using unconventional methods (e.g. horizontal directional drilling, relining) without reducing the network’s service life, or in open trenches without sand bedding, with backfill executed using excavated soil if it is compactable.
