GasPRO pipes are used in natural gas supply networks with a maximum operating pressure of MOP = 10 bar (reference temperature 20\u00b0C). GasPRO pipes comply with EN 1555-2:2011, Annex B “Pipes with peelable layer” (“Pipes with peelable layer”). GasPRO pipes were designed to improve handling, storage, and installation conditions and to reduce the costs associated with these operations. The core consists of a high-density polyethylene PE100RC pipe (Resistant to Cracks). On the outside, a yellow polypropylene (PP) layer is applied during manufacturing (co-extrusion), with additives to increase scratch and penetration resistance. Polypropylene is approx. 3 times more resistant than polyethylene, and any damage beyond the permissible limit is easy to spot due to the different color of the protective layer.
