These are utilized in natural gas supply networks with branch pressures ranging from 200 mbar to 5 bar. They are equipped with a drilling system, and the connection can be made regardless of whether the network is pressurized or not. The tapping tees come with a factory-installed gas stop device at the outlet. This safety device is designed to prevent explosions, personal injuries, gas leaks, etc., in the event of an accidental rupture of the branch pipe. The safety devices are of the non-self-resetting type; special resetting kits, available from Distrigaz Sud/ENGIE teams, are required to unlock them. – Material: PE 100 SDR 11 (ISO S5) – Manufacturing standard: EN 1555-1:2011, ISO 4437-3 – Manufacturing method: Injection molding – The electrofusion fitting’s resistance is integrated into the material – The internal surfaces of the fittings are smooth, without striations – Welding temperature: -10°C to +45°C – Welding voltage: 40 V – With integrated punch for drilling pressurized pipes – 4 mm connectors – Welding indicators with limited displacement – Electrofusion tapping tees ≥ d250 mm are supplied with a fixing clamp, attached at one end, and a tightening system at the other end. For installation, these do not require special devices; a socket wrench is sufficient. Installation must be performed by authorized personnel in accordance with the installation instructions.
