PE100RC-PE100RC-PE100RC triple-layer pipes are used in pressurized water supply networks (including drinking water).
Due to the increased resistance of PE100RC material to slow crack propagation, these pipes can be installed in open trenches without sand bedding, allowing the use of excavated soil as backfill if it is compactable, or through unconventional laying methods (horizontal directional drilling, relining).
The pipes are manufactured by co-extrusion, configured as follows:
-the outer and inner layers – smooth and blue,
-the layer between the two (intermediate) – smooth, black,
made of high-density polyethylene with crack propagation resistance (PE100RC), stabilized to provide UV protection, in accordance with PAS 1075:2009.
