Pipes with a double-layer PE100RC–PE100 structure are used in pressurized water supply networks (including drinking water) and are installed buried in the ground in an open trench with sand bedding.
The pipes are manufactured by co-extrusion, configured as follows:
- the outer layer smooth, blue, made of PE100RC,
- the inner layer smooth, black, made of PE100.
