The steel tanks in the Valrom range are designed for storing domestic drinking water and/or for firefighting. They are cylindrical and installed above ground. Tank design is based on the characteristics of the area where it will operate: atmospheric pressure, seismic risk, snow load, wind speed, and the minimum temperature of the installation area. The tanks are made of galvanized steel panels assembled on site using bolts and fixing brackets, insulated with polystyrene boards and a liner. The tanks are equipped with an access hatch and external access ladder, filling connection, network supply connection, and overflow. On request, they can be supplied with an electric anti-freeze heater, additional connections for linking to other equipment, or other devices for monitoring and maintaining the water level in the tank.
