PexKIT piping with an oxygen barrier is utilized in underfloor heating systems, defined as Class 4, in accordance with standard EN ISO 22391-2:2009. For this application, manifolds with Eurocone fittings are available for pipes with diameters ranging from 14 to 20 mm. Material: high-temperature resistant polyethylene PE-RT TYPE II. Oxygen barrier (EVOH ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer) – prevents oxygen from the atmosphere from penetrating through the pipe molecules and, consequently, the oxidation of metallic components within the system. Reference standard: EN ISO 22391-2:2009 regarding production, verification, and scope of application. DIN 4726 for oxygen barrier. Maximum pressure: PN8 bar.
