It is used in internal drainage systems for the discharge of domestic wastewater in non-pressure flow (where the leak test is performed at max. 0.5 bar), especially for building risers, where sound attenuation from water discharge from upper floors is desired.

The black pipes are made of PP with mineral additives, in a triple-layer wall construction, fitted with a socket and gasket at one end.
The range of dimensions includes diameters from 32 mm to 160 mm, with lengths between 250 mm and 3000 mm.
The acoustic performance is 16 dB for a flow rate of 2 l/s. The sound-absorbing properties are certified following measurements carried out in the laboratories of the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany, in accordance with EN 14366. The use of sound-absorbing clamps is recommended.
The fire behavior classification of the piping in accordance with DIN 4102-1 is class B1. When passing through ceilings, we recommend the use of fire collars as a protective measure against flame propagation.
To reduce the noise level of internal drainage systems, we recommend:
• Selecting a pipe and fitting system with good sound-absorbing properties;
• Ensuring correct design of the installations;
• Correctly installing the system using appropriate products.
