Reducers are made from black PE100 high-density polyethylene compound. PE100 compound is a homogeneous blend of polyethylene, antioxidants, pigments, and UV stabilizers. The PE100 raw material complies with SR ISO 4427-1 and SR EN 12201-1 standards. Manufacturing Reducers are made from extruded or injection-molded semi-finished products, mechanically machined. Reference standard SR EN 12201-3: Plastic piping systems for water supply, service connections and pressurized drainage and sewerage — Polyethylene (PE). Part 3: Fittings. Use For drinking water supply networks with an operating pressure of PN 16 bar, installed buried in the ground. Service life 50 years, corresponding to a service temperature of 20°C and a working pressure equal to or lower than the PN for which the fitting was manufactured. Joining method - Butt fusion with fittings/pipes with the same SDR. - Electrofusion. Approvals Technical approval and technical assessment for use in construction in Romania. Sanitary approval for use with drinking water, issued by INSP Bucharest.
