Reducers are made of black high-density polyethylene compound type PE100. The PE100 compound is a homogeneous mixture of polyethylene, antioxidants, pigments, and stabilizers against UV radiation. The raw material PE100 complies with SR ISO 4427-1 and SR EN 12201-1 standards. Manufacturing: Reducers are obtained from extruded or injected semi-finished products, machined. Reference standard SR EN 12201-3: Plastic piping systems for water supply, connections and polyethylene (PE) pressure discharge systems. Part 3 Fittings. Use in drinking water supply networks with operating pressure PN 10 bar, buried in the ground. The duration of use is 50 years, corresponding to a usage temperature of 20C and a working pressure equal to or less than the PN for which the fitting was manufactured. Joining method - by butt welding with fittings/pipes with the same SDR. - by electrofusion. Approvals: Technical approval for use in constructions in Romania. Sanitary approval for use with drinking water, issued by INSP Bucharest.
