PE100RC-PE100RC double-layer pipes are utilized in pressurized water supply networks (including potable water).
Due to the increased resistance of PE100RC material to slow crack propagation, these pipes can be installed in open trenches without sand bedding, allowing for the use of excavated soil as backfill if it is compactable, or through unconventional laying methods (horizontal directional drilling, relining).
The pipes are manufactured by co-extrusion, configured as follows:
-smooth outer layer, blue in color,
-smooth inner layer, black in color,
made from high-density polyethylene with resistance to crack propagation (PE100RC), stabilized to provide UV protection, in accordance with PAS 1075:2009.
