Usage: This kit is used in underfloor heating systems, as well as in mixed systems (radiators/underfloor heating), to draw thermal agent from the primary heating circuit at a high temperature (55°C) and supply it to the secondary circuit at a lower temperature (20-45°C). Maximum liquid temperature: 80°C. Maximum system pressure: 10 bar. Fluid temperature range: 20-50°C. Pump connection distance: 130 mm. Pump connection: G1″. Flow/return manifold connection: G1″. COMPONENTS: 1. Thermostatic valve – 3/4″. The thermostatic valve is controlled by a thermostatic head with an immersion sensor and serves to maintain a constant flow temperature in the secondary circuit. The temperature can be easily adjusted using the graduated scale on the thermostatic head with immersion sensor (ordered separately, Valrom Code 64400000001). The amount of water through the valve, under operating conditions, represents 25% of the total flow in the secondary circuit. 2. 3-way valve – 3/4″. The valve is used to balance the system by modifying the flow rates of the two circuits, primary and secondary, respectively. By installing a servomotor, it is possible to switch from ‘fixed point’ operation to ‘variable point’ operation. 3. Pump – Grundfos UPM3 auto L 15/70. The UPM3 AUTO L pump is a new generation electronic pump that can adjust its performance according to the installation requirements. The end-user can choose from 10 different operating curves. 4. Manual air vent valve – 1/2″. Used for air elimination from the installation (system de-aeration). 5. Bypass valve 1/2″. Used for bypass regulation. Its role is to ensure the passage of a minimum amount of water into the secondary circuit, to protect the pump. 6. Valve with thermometer 1″. Used for closing the secondary circuit in case of malfunction. With the help of the thermometer, the inlet and outlet temperature of the secondary circuit can be viewed. 7. Safety thermostat. In case of malfunction of the thermostatic head, the safety thermostat stops the pump’s power supply. 8. Straight return valve 3/4″. Used to regulate the flow in the primary circuit.
