Valrom’s steel tanks are designed for the storage of potable water for domestic use and/or fire suppression. They are cylindrical in shape and are installed above ground. Tank design is based on the characteristics of the operating area: atmospheric pressure, seismic risk, snow load, wind speed, and minimum temperature of the installation site. The tanks are constructed from galvanized steel panels, assembled with bolts and fixing supports at the point of use, insulated with polystyrene boards and a liner. The tanks are equipped with an access hatch and external access ladder, a filling connection, a connection for network supply, and an overflow. Upon request, they can be supplied with electric frost protection, additional connections for other equipment, or other devices for controlling and maintaining the water level in the tank.
