The steel tanks in Valrom’s range are intended for storing domestic drinking water
and/or for firefighting.
They are cylindrical and installed above ground.
Tank design is carried out according to the characteristics of the area
where it will operate: atmospheric pressure, seismic risk,
snow load, wind speed, and the minimum temperature of
the installation area.
The tanks are made of galvanized steel panels that are
assembled using bolts and fixing brackets at the place of
use, insulated with polystyrene boards and a liner. The tanks are
equipped with an access hatch and external access ladder,
a filling connection, a connection for supplying the network, and an overflow. On
request, they can be supplied with an electric anti-freeze heater,
additional connections for linking to other equipment
or other devices for controlling and maintaining
the water level in the tank.
