Used in natural gas supply networks with service connection pressure of 35 mbar–5 bar. Equipped with a tapping system, and coupling can be performed whether the network is pressurized or not. The service tees are factory-fitted, on the outlet of the service tee, with the gas stop device, a safety device designed to prevent explosions, personal injury, gas losses, etc. in the event of accidental breakage of the service connection pipe. The safety devices are non-self-resetting; to unblock them, special reset kits are required, available from Distrigaz Sud/ENGIE teams.
