Elbows are made from high-density polyethylene compound, PE100, black in color. The PE100 compound is a homogeneous blend of polyethylene, antioxidants, pigments, and UV stabilizers. The PE100 raw material complies with SR ISO 4427-1 and SR EN 12201-1. Manufacturing Injection-molded fittings. Reference standard SR EN 12201-3: Plastic piping systems for water supply, service connections and pressurized drainage and sewerage systems — Polyethylene (PE). Part 3: Fittings. Use In drinking water supply networks with an operating pressure of PN16 bar, installed buried in the ground. Service life is 50 years, corresponding to a service temperature of 20°C and a working pressure equal to or lower than the PN for which the fitting was manufactured. Joining method - Butt fusion with fittings/pipes with the same SDR. - Electrofusion.
