Elbows are made from black high-density polyethylene compound, PE100 type. PE100 compound is a homogeneous blend of polyethylene, antioxidants, pigments, and UV-radiation stabilizers. The PE100 raw material complies with SR ISO 4427-1 and SR EN 12201-1. Manufacturing: injection-molded fittings. Reference standard SR EN 12201-3: Plastics piping systems for water supply, service connections and pressurized drainage and sewerage systems — Polyethylene (PE) — Part 3: Fittings. Use in drinking water supply networks with an operating pressure of PN 10 bar, installed buried in the ground. Service life is 50 years, corresponding to a service temperature of 20°C and a working pressure equal to or lower than the PN for which the fitting was manufactured.
