Used in interior drainage systems for the evacuation of domestic wastewater in gravity flow conditions (where the tightness test is performed at max. 0.5 bar), where sound dampening of water discharge is desired.

Socket and gasket joining system, no special tools, adhesives or solvents required.
Acoustic performance is 16 dB for a flow rate of 2 l/s. Sound-absorbing properties are certified following measurements performed in the laboratories of the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany, according to EN 14366. The use of sound-absorbing clamps is recommended.
Fire behavior classification, in accordance with DIN 4102-1, is class B1. For ceiling penetrations, we recommend using fire-resistant clamps as a protective measure against flame propagation.
To reduce noise levels in interior drainage systems, we recommend:
• Selecting a pipe and fitting system with good sound-absorbing properties;
• Proper design of the installations;
• Correct installation of the system using appropriate products.
