This product is used in indoor sewage systems for the discharge of domestic wastewater in non-pressurized flow (where the leak test is performed at a maximum of 0.5 bar), specifically where sound damping of water discharge is desired.
Reference standard: EN 1451.
The products are black, mass-colored, single-layer, and made of PP with mineral additives.
The range of sizes includes diameters from 32 mm to 160 mm.
The connection system uses a socket and gasket, requiring no special tools, adhesives, or solvents.
Acoustic performance is 16 dB for a flow rate of 2 L/s. The sound-absorbing properties are certified following measurements conducted in the laboratories of the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany, in accordance with EN 14366. The use of sound-absorbing clamps is recommended.
Fire behavior classification, in accordance with DIN 4102-1, falls under class B1. When passing through ceilings, we recommend using fire-resistant clamps as a protective measure against flame propagation.
To reduce the noise level of indoor sewage systems, we recommend:
• Selecting a pipe and fitting system with good sound-absorbing properties;
• Ensuring correct system design;
• Correctly installing the system using appropriate products.
