Tees are made from black high-density polyethylene compound, PE100 type. PE100 compound is a homogeneous blend of polyethylene, antioxidants, pigments, and UV stabilizers. The PE100 raw material complies with SR ISO 4427-1 and SR EN 12201-1. Manufacturing: Tees are made from welded segments. Reference standard: SR EN 12201-3: Plastics piping systems for water supply, service connections and pressurised drainage and sewerage—Polyethylene (PE). Part 3: Fittings. Use in drinking water supply networks with an operating pressure of PN 12.5 bar, installed buried in the ground. Service life is 50 years, corresponding to a service temperature of 20°C and a working pressure equal to or lower than the PN for which the fitting was manufactured. Joining method – by butt fusion welding with fittings/pipes of the same SDR. – by electrofusion. Approvals: Technical approval and agreement for use in constructions in Romania. Sanitary approval for use with potable water, issued by INSP Bucharest.
PE100 TEE D.225 SDR11
Polyethylene SDR 11 tees, manufactured from PE100 SDR 11 pipe segments by welding, are used to build pressurized water supply networks (including drinking water) with a maximum pressure of PN12.5 bar (calculated for a temperature of 20°C).
