CONNECTOR BODY ”V” PP VALFono FONO D50/60
It is used in internal sewage systems for the discharge of domestic wastewater in gravity flow mode (where the leakage test is performed at a maximum of 0.5 bar), in applications requiring sound attenuation of water discharge.
Reference standard: EN 1451.
They are black, mass-colored, single-layer, made of PP with mineral additives.
Socket and gasket jointing system; no special tools, adhesives, or solvents are required.
The acoustic performance is 16 dB for a flow rate of 2 L/s. The sound-absorbing properties are certified by measurements performed at the Fraunhofer Institute laboratories in Germany, in accordance with EN 14366. The use of sound-absorbing clamps is recommended.
To reduce the noise level of internal sewage systems, we recommend:
• Selecting a system of pipes and fittings with good sound-absorbing properties;
• Ensuring correct system design;
• Correct installation of the system using appropriate products.
