Used in indoor sewer installations for discharging domestic wastewater in gravity flow without pressure (where the leak-tightness test is carried out at max. 0.5 bar), especially for building stacks, where sound damping from water discharge from upper floors is required.

The pipes, white in color, are made by co-extrusion from PVC-U with mineral additives, in a triple-layer wall construction, fitted at one end with a socket with seal.
The size range includes diameters from 50 mm to 200 mm, with lengths between 250 and 3000 mm.
Acoustic performance is 11 dB at a flow rate of 2 l/s. The sound-absorbing properties are certified following measurements carried out in the laboratories of the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany, according to EN 14366. The use of sound-absorbing clamps is recommended.
The fire performance classification of the piping in accordance with SR EN 13501 is class C – s3 – d0. The material is fire-resistant, self-extinguishing when the fire source disappears. No fireproofing is required as with other materials for indoor sewerage, as PVC-U is flame-retardant. When passing through ceilings, we recommend using fire collars as a protection measure against flame spread.
To reduce the noise level of indoor sewer systems, the following is recommended:
• Choosing a pipe and fitting system with good sound-absorbing properties;
• Proper design of the installations;
• Correct installation of the system using suitable products.
