Reducing tees are made from high-density polyethylene compound, PE100 type, black in color. The PE100 compound is a homogeneous blend of polyethylene, antioxidants, pigments, and UV stabilizers. The PE100 raw material complies with SR ISO 4427-1 and SR EN 12201-1 standards.

Manufacturing
Reducing tees consist of a segmented tee to which one or more reducers have been welded.

Use
For drinking water supply networks with an operating pressure of PN 8 bar, installed buried in the ground.

Service life
50 years, corresponding to a use temperature of 20°C and a working pressure equal to or lower than the PN for which the fitting was manufactured.

Joining method
– Butt welding with fittings/pipes with the same SDR.
– Electrofusion.

Approvals
Approval and technical assessment for use in construction in Romania.
Sanitary approval for use with drinking water, issued by INSP Bucharest.
