Reducing tees are manufactured from PE100 high-density polyethylene compound, black in color. PE100 compound is a homogeneous mixture of polyethylene, antioxidants, pigments, and UV radiation stabilizers. PE100 raw material complies with SR ISO 4427-1 and SR EN 12201-1 standards. Manufacturing Reducing tees consist of a tee made from segments to which one or more reducers have been welded. Reference standard SR EN 12201-3: Plastics piping systems for water supply, and for drains and sewers under pressure. Polyethylene (PE). Part 3 Fittings. Use in drinking water supply networks with operating pressure PN 8 bar, installed underground. Sanitary approval for use with drinking water, issued by INSP Bucharest.
