Reducing tees are made from high-density polyethylene compound, PE100 type, black in color. The PE100 compound is a homogeneous blend of polyethylene, antioxidants, pigments, and UV stabilizers. The PE100 raw material complies with SR ISO 4427-1 and SR EN 12201-1 standards. Manufacturing: Reducing tees are obtained by welding a reducer/reducer assembly directly onto the large-diameter pipe (see PNG sketch). Reference standard SR EN 12201-3: Plastic piping systems for water supply, service connections and pressurised drainage and sewerage systems — Polyethylene (PE). Part 3: Fittings. For use in drinking water supply networks with an operating pressure of PN 9.6 bar, installed buried in the ground. Service life is 50 years, corresponding to a service temperature of 20°C and a working pressure equal to or lower than the PN for which the fitting was manufactured.
