Reduced tees are produced from black PE100 high-density polyethylene compound. The PE100 compound is a homogeneous mixture of polyethylene, antioxidants, pigments, and UV radiation stabilizers. The PE100 raw material complies with SR ISO 4427-1 and SR EN 12201-1 standards. Manufacturing: Reduced tees consist of a segmented tee to which one or more reducers have been welded. Reference standard SR EN 12201-3: Plastics piping systems for water supply, as well as for connections and pressure drainage systems. Polyethylene (PE). Part 3: Fittings. Usage in potable water supply networks with an operating pressure of PN 8 bar, installed underground. The service life is 50 years, corresponding to an operating temperature of 20°C and a working pressure equal to or less than the PN for which the fitting was manufactured. Connection method: – By butt welding with fittings/pipes of the same SDR. – By electrofusion. Approvals: Approval and technical certification for use in construction in Romania. Sanitary approval for use with potable water, issued by INSP Bucharest.

SDR 17 polyethylene tees, manufactured by welding PE100 SDR 17 pipe segments, are utilized in pressurized water supply networks (including potable water) with a maximum pressure of PN 8 bar (calculated at 20°C).
