This product is used in indoor drainage systems for the discharge of domestic wastewater, at low and high temperatures, under non-pressure flow conditions (where the leak test is performed at max. 0.5 bar), and in associated natural ventilation systems.
Reference standard: SR EN 1329-1.
The pipes are made of PVC-U and feature a plain socket at one end. The connection is made by adhesive bonding, forming a permanent, rigid joint.
The fire behavior classification of PVC-U piping, in accordance with SR EN 13501, falls under class C. The material is fire-resistant and self-extinguishing once the fire source is removed. Unlike other materials for indoor drainage, PVC-U material is inherently flame-retardant, eliminating the need for additional fireproofing. For passages through ceilings, we recommend using fire collars as a measure to prevent flame propagation.
For the installation of indoor drainage systems, adherence to national and European design and installation regulations is recommended.
