VALPlast multilayer pipes are made of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) and are used in municipal gravity sewer and drainage networks.

Product standard: SR EN 13476-2 “Plastics piping systems for drainage and sewerage, non-pressure, underground. Structured-wall piping systems of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U), polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE). Part 2: Specifications for pipes and fittings with smooth internal and external surfaces and for the system, type A”.

The pipes have an intermediate layer of expanded PVC-U located between an outer layer and an inner layer of compact PVC-U.
The pipes are joined with a socket and sealing gasket.

Depending on the strength class, the pipes are classified:
– SN2 with minimum ring stiffness 2 kN/m²;
– SN4 with minimum ring stiffness 4 kN/m²;
– SN8 with minimum ring stiffness 8 kN/m².
