The aquaClean SBR13/20 LE is designed for the treatment of domestic wastewater originating from: single or multi-family homes, public facilities (offices, restaurants, etc.). The maximum volume of treated water must be between 1.5 and 2.4 m³/day, and the BOD₅ in the influent must be between 0.6 and 0.96 kg/day. Treatment capacity (homogenized sample at 24 h) BOD₅: (= 20 mg/L. COD: (= 90 mg/L. NH₄N: (= 10 mg/L. Nanorg: (= 25 mg/L (?12°C). Attention! The aquaClean SBR13/20 LE cannot be used for treating industrial wastewater or wastewater with biological loads exceeding the specified limits (food industry, agro-livestock farms, etc.). It incorporates technology from ATB Umwelttechnologien GmbH. Performance in accordance with SR EN 12566-3:2005+A2. The system operates on the activated sludge principle and batch water treatment (SBR, Sequencing Batch Reactor). Impurities are metabolized by microorganisms in the water, which multiply to form activated sludge. The wastewater enters the pre-treatment tank. The pre-treated water is transported by a sludge pump to the treatment tank. The pump starts every 2 hours, activating the connecting pipe (communicating vessels). Aeration is intermittent, with the aeration phase ceasing after 6 hours. This is followed by the sedimentation phase. After 2 hours, during which the sludge settles, the discharge pump starts. By switching a float, discharge is interrupted when the adjusted level is reached. After approximately 8 hours, the treatment of the first batch is completed, and the second cycle begins. The constructive solution includes: – polyethylene tanks (2 pieces) with a volume of 2 x 4700 liters. Tank dimensions: 2760x1760x1930 mm, weight: approximately 230 kg/tank, 600 mm extensions for covers, sealed with gaskets and secured with a metal collar, covered by polyethylene lids, for installation in green areas. The first tank is called the pre-treatment tank, and the second tank, where the treatment unit is installed, is called the treatment tank. – AQUAmax treatment unit (ATB Umwelttechnologien GmbH): submersible motor aerator for fine-bubble aeration – specially developed for small treatment plants – AQUA 5: 0.56 kW / 2.5 A. ATBlift 2 discharge pump for treated water – 0.3 kW / 1.3 A. ATBlift 2 pump for excess sludge and feeding. Integrated AQUAswitch float. Plastic frame. – ATBcontrol 3 control unit, cable (7×1.5 mm) 15 m, – connecting elements: DN110 polypropylene piping. INFO: The station does not require a sampling manhole. The standard package includes a sample collection container with a capacity of 1.5 liters. This is installed inside the station and is automatically filled with each discharge of treated water (typically every 8 hours). For analysis, the container is removed and emptied into a sample bottle (or water) which is taken as soon as possible to an authorized laboratory. Alternatively, samples can be taken from a separate discharge manhole. Before any action, the possibility of discharging the treated water must be carefully analyzed. The standard supply is delivered ready for installation in non-traffic areas and at a frost depth of 0.8 m. If installation is in areas with greater frost depths, please contact the manufacturer.
