Used in interior sewage systems for the discharge of domestic wastewater in gravity flow regime (where the tightness test is performed at max. 0.5 bar), where sound dampening from water discharge is desired.
Reference standard: EN 1451.
Black color, mass-colored, single-layer, made of PP with mineral additives.
Socket and gasket joining system, no special tools, adhesives or solvents required.
Acoustic performance is 16dB for a flow rate of 2 l/s. Sound-absorbing properties are certified following measurements performed in the laboratories of the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany, according to EN 14366. The use of sound-absorbing clamps is recommended.
To reduce the noise level of interior sewage systems, it is recommended to:
• Choose a pipe and fitting system with good sound-absorbing properties;
• Ensure correct design of the installations;
• Correctly install the system using appropriate products.
