GasPro pipes are used in natural gas supply networks with a maximum operating pressure MOP = 10 bar (reference temperature 20°C). GasPro pipes were designed to: improve handling, storage and installation conditions and reduce the costs associated with these operations. The core consists of a high-density polyethylene PE100 pipe for gas networks, in accordance with the requirements of product standards and applicable national regulations. On the outside, from the manufacturing stage (co-extrusion), a layer of polypropylene (PP) with additives is applied to increase resistance to scratching and penetration. Polypropylene is approx. 3 times more resistant than polyethylene, and any damage beyond the permissible limit is easy to spot due to the different color of the protective layer. This layer protects the pipe from mechanical stress and UV radiation, from the moment of manufacture until the end of its service life in use.
