The filter cartridge with activated carbon block and ultrafiltration membrane is used in residential or industrial applications to reduce free residual chlorine concentration and secondary compounds resulting from water chlorination, to reduce organic compound concentration in water and improve taste and odor. Due to the ultrafiltration membrane, it can retain particles larger than 0.1μm. Thus, in addition to the finest suspensions, it can filter bacteria such as Escherichia Coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa. It is recommended for drinking water (regulated by Law 458/2002 with subsequent amendments) from the public supply system. The cartridge is designed for use in enclosures protected from frost, excessive temperatures, or direct sunlight. Filtration efficiency is influenced by inlet water quality and may change over time. This filter cartridge model is not recommended for use with raw water having unknown physical-chemical and microbiological quality parameters without consulting a specialist.
