VALPlast PP inspection chambers are used in external sewerage networks for wastewater and stormwater drainage in localities, gravity flow with free surface.
Product standard: SR EN 13598–2 "Plastics piping systems for non-pressure underground drainage and sewerage. Unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U), polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE). Part 2: Specifications for manholes and inspection chambers"; SR CEN/TS 13598–3 "Plastics piping systems for non-pressure underground drainage and sewerage. Part 3: Guidance for the assessment of conformity".
The chambers are manufactured from polypropylene PP using the rotational molding process "rotomolding".
They have a cylindrical shape with reinforcements and adjustments that ensure structural integrity of the chamber.
Access to the chamber is provided by steps profiled in the chamber wall. The access diameter to the chamber is 640mm. The nominal external diameter of the inspection chamber is 1100mm.
Accessories for inspection chambers (not included, can be ordered separately):
– Sealing gasket 640mm for inspection chamber (47901000116)
– Extension with H=100-300mm (47901000213) or H=100-600mm (47901000216) for inspection chamber. Important: No more than one extension can be used.
– Metal part for fixing the chamber extension (47901000125)
– PE protective cover with Dext 700mm (47901000008) or with Dext 800mm (47901000006) – select the appropriate cover depending on the situation (chamber with/without extension).
