VALPlast PE connection/inspection chambers are used for inspecting and cleaning gravity sewer networks. They are installed in non-traffic areas, classified according to SR EN 124, Group 1: green areas, areas used exclusively by pedestrians or cyclists (min. class A15) and/or Group 2: sidewalks and parking areas (min. class B125).
Product standard: Company Technical Standard (STF).
VALPlast PE connection/inspection chambers are manufactured by the “rotomolding” process; the chamber base and extension are monobloc.
The connections at the chamber base are capped and are cut on site to the required diameter.
When covering the chamber, please consider the installation location, as follows:
- Group 1: cover min. resistance class A15
- Group 2: cover min. resistance class B125.
The cover with frame must be installed ONLY on a concrete slab that will slide on the outside of the chamber column, so that axial pressure is applied to the ground and not to the chamber.
