The steel tanks in Valrom’s range are designed for storing potable water for domestic use and/or firefighting. They have a cylindrical shape and are installed above ground. Tank design is based on the characteristics of the area where it will operate: atmospheric pressure, seismic risk, snow load, wind speed, and minimum temperature of the installation area. The tanks are made of galvanized steel panels assembled with bolts and fixing supports at the site of use, insulated with polystyrene panels and liner. The tanks are equipped with an access hatch and external access ladder, filling connection, network supply connection, and overflow. Upon request, they can be supplied with electric heating element for frost protection, additional connections for linking to other equipment, or other devices for controlling and maintaining the water level in the tank.
