Valrom’s steel tanks are designed for storing domestic potable water
and/or for fire fighting.
They are cylindrical and installed above ground.
Tank design is based on the characteristics of the operating area
where it will function: atmospheric pressure, seismic
risk, snow load, wind speed, and minimum temperature of the
installation area.
The tanks are made of galvanized steel panels that are
assembled with bolts and fixing brackets at the
installation site, insulated with polystyrene boards and a liner. The tanks are
equipped with an access hatch and external access ladder,
a filling connection, a network supply connection, and an overflow. Upon
request, they can be supplied with electric frost
protection, additional connections for other equipment,
or other devices for controlling and maintaining the
water level in the tank.
