Use: A professional plasticizing additive with strong water-reducing action, specially formulated for screeds covering underfloor heating installations. Mixed with the cement/concrete used, the screed additive provides superior elasticity to the mix, increasing workability and mechanical resistance to vibration by rapidly eliminating air present in the concrete. The PexKIT screed additive is fully water-soluble, contains no chlorides, and does not corrode metal structures or equipment. Color: brown Absolute density, kg/L: 1.20 +/- 0.03 pH value: 8.5 +/- 1.0 Directions for use: Dose the screed additive at 0.5%–1% of the total cement quantity (for 100 kg of cement, add between 0.5 and 1 kg of screed additive). For maximum efficiency, pre-mix the powder materials (cement and aggregates) with at least 70% of the water quantity. Add the PexKIT additive to this mix and mix for 3–5 minutes until homogeneous. Add the remaining water until the desired consistency is obtained. The mix remains workable for up to 90 minutes.
