High-density polyethylene PE100RC pipes are used to build cold water supply networks (including drinking water) and are installed buried in the ground.
Thanks to the increased resistance of PE100RC to slow crack growth, these pipes can also be installed using trenchless methods (e.g., horizontal directional drilling, relining) without reducing the network’s service life, or in open trench without sand bedding; backfilling shall be done with the excavated soil if it can be compacted.
