PE100 RC (Resistant to Cracks) polyethylene exhibits crack propagation resistance under stress, compared to PE80 and PE100. The blue outer layer serves to protect the pipe from mechanical stress, UV radiation, and to prevent contamination. The dimensions of the PE100RC pipe are standardized according to EN 12201-2, and the thickness of the outer PP layer is added to the standard pipe thickness. Usage: WaterPro PE100RC pipes are used in pressurized drinking water supply networks, buried underground. Unconventional installation methods: Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD): used for laying new pipelines or reconstructing old ones. This method is suitable for areas where open trenching is to be avoided (especially in urban areas where installation costs and traffic disruption are high).
