WaterPro PE100 pipes with protective coating are used in pressurized cold-water supply networks (including drinking water), for installation by conventional methods, in open trench, with sand bedding.
The construction of the WaterPRO PE100 pipe complies with SR EN 12201-2 Plastic piping systems for water supply and for service connections and pressurized drainage systems. Polyethylene (PE). Part 2: Pipes – Annex C Peelable-layer pipes.
The high-density polyethylene pipe, PE100 type, black color, with dimensions according to EN 12201-2, is covered from the manufacturing stage (co-extrusion) with a peelable protective layer made of blue thermoplastic material.
The protective layer protects the pipe against mechanical stresses during transport, handling, storage, and UV radiation.
