The tees are manufactured from PE100 high-density polyethylene compound, black in color. The PE100 compound is a homogeneous mixture of polyethylene, antioxidants, pigments, and UV radiation stabilizers. The PE100 raw material complies with SR ISO 4427-1 and SR EN 12201-1 standards. Manufacturing: The tees are produced from welded segments. Reference standard SR EN 12201-3: Plastics piping systems for water supply, service lines and pressure drainage – polyethylene (PE). Part 3: Fittings. Use in drinking water supply networks with operating pressure PN 8 bar, installed underground. Service life is 50 years, corresponding to an operating temperature of 20°C and a working pressure equal to or less than the PN for which the fitting was manufactured. Joining method – by butt fusion welding with fittings/pipes of the same SDR. – by electrofusion. Approvals: Technical approval and agreement for use in constructions in Romania. Sanitary approval for use with potable water, issued by INSP Bucharest.
