Used in indoor drainage systems for discharging domestic wastewater in gravity (non-pressure) flow (where the leak-tightness test is carried out at max. 0.5 bar), where sound damping from water discharge is required.

Socket-and-gasket jointing system; no special tools, adhesives, or solvents are required.
Acoustic performance is 16 dB at a flow rate of 2 l/s. The sound-absorbing properties are certified based on measurements carried out in the laboratories of the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany, in accordance with EN 14366. The use of sound-absorbing pipe clamps is recommended.
Fire behaviour classification, in accordance with DIN 4102-1, is class B1. When passing through ceilings, we recommend using fire collars as a protection measure against flame spread.
To reduce the noise level of indoor drainage systems, the following is recommended:
• Choose a pipe and fittings system with good sound-absorbing properties;
• Ensure correct system design;
• Install the system correctly using suitable products.
