Acoustic performance is 16 dB at a flow rate of 2 l/s. The sound-absorbing properties are certified based on measurements carried out in the Fraunhofer Institute laboratories in Germany, in accordance with EN 14366. The use of sound-absorbing pipe clamps is recommended.
Fire behavior classification, in accordance with DIN 4102-1, is class B1. For penetrations through ceilings, we recommend using fire collars as a flame-spread protection measure.
To reduce the noise level of indoor drainage systems, the following is recommended:
• Choose a pipe and fittings system with good sound-absorbing properties;
• Ensure correct system design;
• Install the system correctly using suitable products.
