VALFono FONO Eccentric Reducer DN 40/32
It is used in indoor drainage systems for the discharge of domestic wastewater in gravity flow (where the leak test is performed at a maximum of 0.5 bar), specifically where sound dampening of water discharge is desired.
Reference standard: EN 1451.
They are black, mass-colored, single-layer, made of PP with mineral additives.
Socket and gasket jointing system; no special tools, adhesives, or solvents are required.
The acoustic performance is 16 dB for a flow rate of 2 l/s. The sound-absorbing properties are certified following measurements performed in the laboratories of the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany, in accordance with EN 14366. The use of sound-absorbing clamps is recommended.
To reduce the noise level of indoor drainage systems, we recommend:
• Selecting a pipe and fitting system with good sound-absorbing properties;
• Ensuring correct system design;
• Correct system installation using appropriate products.
