This very lightweight, high-performance electrofusion welding unit, based on inverter technology, provides comprehensive weld documentation, including operator code, job code, full traceability data (ISO 12176), and GPS coordinates automatically added to each weld record. Everything is designed for ease of use: a scanner for remote barcode reading, an active cooling system for continuous welding without pauses, an icon-based display for intuitive operation, and a configurable workflow to suit individual needs, from the simplest to the most detailed information. The entire welding process is controlled, with energy compensation based on ambient temperature and indicated cooling time. Welding parameters, operator code, and job code are entered using a scanner-type barcode reader. The internal memory has a capacity of 5,000 records, which can be downloaded to an external USB drive. Weld protocols are available in PDF or CSV format (both file types can be managed on any computer with free applications). For advanced use, the BIN file format is available, compatible with MSA Welding Book, to filter and sort weld protocols and images captured during welding from multiple MSA machines. The solid aluminum casing and plastic handle ensure ergonomic transport. The machine owner can program rental periods; the unit locks upon expiration, and resetting is done via password.
