Reference standard SR EN 12201-3: Plastics piping systems for water supply, service lines and pressure sewerage systems – polyethylene (PE). Part 3: Fittings. Use in drinking water supply networks with operating pressure PN 16bar, installed buried in ground. Service life is 50 years, corresponding to an operating temperature of 20°C and a working pressure equal to or lower than the PN for which the fitting was manufactured.
