Reduced tees are manufactured from high-density polyethylene compound type PE100, black color. PE100 compound is a homogeneous mixture of polyethylene, antioxidants, pigments and UV radiation stabilizers. PE100 raw material complies with standards SR ISO 4427-1 and SR EN 12201-1. Manufacturing: Reduced tees are obtained by welding a reducer/reducer assembly directly onto the large diameter pipe (see png diagram). Reference standard SR EN 12201-3: Plastics piping systems for water supply, service lines and pressure drainage systems – polyethylene (PE). Part 3: Fittings. For use in drinking water supply networks with an operating pressure of PN 9.6 bar, installed buried in the ground. Service life is 50 years, corresponding to a service temperature of 20°C and a working pressure equal to or lower than the PN for which the fitting was manufactured.
