Reduced tees are produced from black PE100 high-density polyethylene compound. The PE100 compound is a homogeneous mixture of polyethylene, antioxidants, pigments, and UV radiation stabilizers. The PE100 raw material complies with SR ISO 4427-1 and SR EN 12201-1 standards. Manufacturing: Reduced tees consist of a segmented tee to which one or more reducers have been welded. Reference standard SR EN 12201-3: Plastic piping systems for water supply, connections, and pressure drainage systems, polyethylene (PE). Part 3: Fittings. Usage in potable water supply networks with an operating pressure of PN 8 bar, installed underground. The service life is 50 years, corresponding to an operating temperature of 20°C and a working pressure equal to or less than the PN for which the fitting was manufactured. Connection method: – by butt welding with fittings/pipes of the same SDR. – by electrofusion. Approvals: Approval and technical certification for use in constructions in Romania. Sanitary approval for use with potable water, issued by INSP Bucharest.
REDUCED PE100 VALWater TEE D355/160 SDR17, WELDED
SDR 17 polyethylene tees, manufactured from welded PE100 SDR 17 pipe segments, are used in pressurized water supply networks (including potable water) with a maximum pressure of PN 8 bar (calculated at 20°C).
